Three amazing dessert cocktails

by Jordan Catapano

The dessert cocktail never fails to please the pallet and is a wonderful addition or alternative to the final course of the evening. You’ll find that these drinks hit the spot (and the sweet tooth) and require a lot less preparation that a traditional dessert.

White Chocolate Martini

2 ounces Potter’s crème de cacao
2 ounces Godiva White Chocolate liqueur
1 ounce Grey Goose vodka
Chocolate shavings for garnish

Mix the liquid ingredients with ice and shake hard. Strain into a martini glass, then shave a small piece of milk or dark chocolate onto the top of the cocktail to garnish.

Caramel Apple Cocktail

1 large scoop of vanilla ice cream
1 ounce Travis Hasse’s Apple Pie liqueur
1 ounce Bailey’s caramel liqueur
Carmel apple slices for garnish

Scoop out a big serving of vanilla ice cream and set into a glass wide enough to comfortably rest a spoon in. Pour the liqueurs over the ice cream and garnish with a slice of gooey caramel apple. Serve with a spoon and add more liqueur if needed.

Mudslide

1 ounce Bailey’s Irish crème liqueur
1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce Grey Goose vodka

Pour the ingredients over ice and mix well. For a tasty variation, try this drink with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, or a candy cane mixing stick.
