We don’t know about you, but we love our bubbly. So we thought it would be fun to show you some simple cocktails you can make for Valentine’s Day. These cocktails pair beautifully with food, and are great to drink anytime. Not just a special occasion.
Chandon Riche is an extra-dry style. It displays a whisper of sweetness yet it maintains the characteristic long, soft finish you expect from Chandon.
Chandon Rum and Honey
3 oz Chandon Extra-Dry Riche
½ oz 10 Cane rum
½ oz lemon juice
¼ oz honey
dash of Mata Hari Absinthe
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, rum, lemon juice, honey and absinthe then shake. Strain into a flute and top with 3 oz Chandon Extra-Dry Riche. Garnish with a drizzle of honey.
Makes 1 cocktail.
Our friend Kristin, at Chandon, will show you how simple it is to make this cocktail.
The next refreshingly zesty cocktail is made with St. Germain, an elderflower liqueur. It is a huge crowd pleaser, with notes of pear, grapefruit and peach. You’re going to like this, if you’re a fan of the French 75.
