We love hot toddy’s for a couple of reasons. One, the combination of cognac, cinnamon and warm apple juice is delicious, and it makes you all warm and happy inside. Second, the house smells amazing from the cinnamon and spices. Third, it’s so easy to make, it’s perfect for a cool winter night, warming up after skiing, or just relaxing by the fire. Oh, who are we kidding, it’s great to sip while watching the Daily Show after a long day.

Spicy Toddy

1 ½ oz Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac
¾ oz Dekuyper Hot Damn Schnapps
1 oz apple juice
Dash of sour mix
Cinnamon stick and sliced apple for garnish

Combine all ingredients. Heat and pour into glass mug. Stir. Garnish with sliced apple and cinnamon stick.
