The majority of Super Bowl Parties I’ve attended seem to include a menu brimming with savory foods (much to my delight). But I find myself thirsting for something sweet to balance all those dips, salsas, salted nuts, burgers, and ribs.
This Kiwi Melon Punch hits the spot with just the right amount of sweetness, and has enough fresh fruit to make me feel better about polishing off that 7-layer dip.
To simplify things, put together a pitcher of the punch a few hours earlier without the fruit or the ice. Once it’s game time, add the pre-chopped fruit and drop the ice into individual glasses as you go.
Kiwi Melon Punch (6 servings)
Pour everything in a large pitcher:
6 ounces Bacardi Light Rum
6 ounces Malibu Rum
6 ounces Midori Melon liqueur
10 ounces sweet n’ sour
Freshly cut lemons, limes, and kiwis
Here’s my recipe for home-made sweet n sour.
