Here’s another great cocktail from our friends at Blade Gin. Combine Rusty Blade Gin which is barrel aged, with notes of nutmeg, clove, cinnamon spice, caramel, orange, apple and pumpkin pie, with Walnut Liqueur. The first thing you taste is nutmeg (bam!) then you get the most lovely taste of warm spices, like pumpkin pie or apple pie. The flavor is so nice you just have to take another sip.
The Rusty Nutcracker (and Rusty Blade Gin) may become your new favorite holiday cocktail. Whiskey lovers beware. You’re going to dig this too.
Rusty Nutcracker
1.5 oz Rusty Blade Gin*
1.5 oz Walnut Liqueur
dash of Orange Bitters
Combine gin and liqueur in a mixing glass with ice. Add a drop of orange bitters. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a coupe cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
